Crepe Farmhouse – Pennell Family Reunion

You drive down the private drive lined with trees and you breathe a sigh of happiness at what you see. This farmhouse is truly beautiful, and a place of pure relaxation. Away from busy roads, off the beaten track, a short stroll to a lovely local pub and a great farmhouse cafe.

The house is beautifully decorated and maintained. It is equipped with everything you need for a very large group (we had 12 adults and 5 small children), with thoughtful touches like 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, a separate bar fridge and the most amazing long dining table that everyone can eat and socialise at, plus a large car-parking area for multiple cars.

The house is very child friendly. There are safety gates on the stairs, and the pool is in a separate building that can be locked. There is a giant walled garden for them to play in and the heated indoor pool and the movie room are lifesavers on a rainy day!

There were multiple places inside & out to sit to get a bit of P&Q and even though we had 17 people in the house and a few rowdy kids the house felt spacious and relaxing.

The surrounding area is beautiful, with an abundance of stunning walks to take, picturesque villages to stroll around and castles to explore.

Finally there were the staff that helped us with our booking. They were fantastic! We booked this property from Australia where we live and they helped every step of the way. When we had queries at the property they responded immediately and resolved everything as quickly as they could.

I would not hesitate to book this property again the next time we have a family reunion.
