Stay at Symondsbury

Your perfect holiday needs the perfect location

Wildlings

A wildling is a wild plant, flower, animal – or a seedling growing freely beyond cultivation.

What is Wildlings?

Set in the beautiful Symondsbury Estate, Wildlings is a joyful outdoor session for toddlers and their grown-ups, designed to build community through nature exploration and play. Like every good welcome, we start with a song, discover our “smell of the week,” then flow into open-ended play and simple nature-inspired activities.

Expect sensory discovery, nature art, planting, songs, and time to connect with other families in a relaxed, supportive space. We use natural, sustainable materials and keep things gentle, curious, and child-led.

Who is it for?

Sessions are for children from walking age (around 18 months) to 4 years, with their grown-ups.

When & Where

  • Every Tuesday in June
  • 9:30am
  • Play fields at Symondsbury Estate

Sessions are outdoors and often delightfully messy — please dress for the weather and play (layers and waterproofs).

About Your Facilitator

Olivia is a parent herself with a background in theatre and education, and a lifelong love of the outdoors. She brings creativity, playfulness, and care to each session, helping little ones (and their adults) slow down, notice, and belong.

Accessibility

We want Wildlings to be as accessible as possible. If cost is a barrier, please get in touch directly at [email protected].
