Wedding Catering

At Symondsbury Estate, catering is designed to be both effortless and memorable. We work exclusively with Dorset Fine Dining and High Grange Devon, whose exceptional food and service set the tone for your day. For more intimate celebrations, our in-house team – led by the Head Chef of Symondsbury Kitchen, Jim Wanless – creates bespoke, seasonal menus using the finest local ingredients. Evening food trucks can also be arranged to bring a fun and relaxed finish to your celebrations.

Dorset Fine Dining’s team of experienced staff will work with you to create the best day of your lives.  They support you from the outset and are on hand to offer guidance and expert knowledge. 

From creating your perfect menu and advising on styling, wedding cakes, wine and much more, Dorset Fine Dining can help to guide you through your wedding planning process.  After working with the Symondsbury Estate team and local suppliers for over 10 years, their attention to detail and effortless collaboration are clear to see. 

Dorset Fine Dining have sample set menus however allow you the freedom to create your own menu with the help and guidance of Executive Chef Nick Holt.  Any ideas are possible and the Wedding Catering Menu is built upon each couple’s personal vision.

High Grange Devon

Tucked away in its own woodland on the edge of the Jurassic Coast, High Grange is home to an award-winning outdoor fire school, seasonal feasting and live fire catering for weddings, private events and corporate days.  Everything High Grange does is rooted in the highest quality ingredients, seasonality, and wanting to create a truly unique experience for every single one of their guests. 

High Grange Wedding Catering combines fire pits and smoke, huge flavour, and a relaxed atmosphere that keeps the focus where it should be. Owner and Chef, Luke Vandore-Mackay, works closely with each couple to design a bespoke menu that reflects your tastes, your foodie history and the season.  Whatever your preference, from relaxed sharing feasts to more formal plated meals, High Grange will bring everything you need – food, fire and a talented team who know exactly how to catering for the occasion! 

High Grange bring everything needed to cook, serve and clear – from BBQs, hanging frames and fire pits to their full team of chefs and front-of-house.  They use ingredients from their gardens, their chickens, Lyme Bay day boats, and a tight-knit network of Devon producers – from ex-dairy beef to locally raised geese.

At Symondsbury Estate, we’re dedicate to delivering exceptional micro-wedding catering, with the expertise of our onsite Head Chef, Jim Wanless.  Jim’s passion for using local, seasonal ingredients shines in every dish.  Our team will work closely with you to create a bespoke menu that reflects your style.  Whether you prefer a traditional feast, informal sharing boards or something out-of-the-box, we’ll bring your vision to life with delicious food featuring Estate-grown produce.
