Now a beautifully refurbished four-bedroom house, built in golden sandstone, it’s hard to imagine that Crepe Farm Cottage was once two humble abodes for farmworkers, complete with outside toilets.
Indeed, the rustic stone trough outside the front of the house, now brimming with flowers in summer, is an original feature and would have been used for watering plants and washing clothes or boots. Tucked away in the heart of Dorset’s rolling countryside, this rural retreat has a wonderful garden, two lovely bathrooms (indoors!), a hot tub and is just a stroll away from Symondsbury Estate where you can pick up your morning paper and croissants.

Crepe Farm Cottage Overview
Sleeping seven people in four bedrooms, Crepe Farm Cottage is a wonderful choice for a group of friends or extended family looking for a countryside retreat. Reached down a gravel path, bordered by pompom box hedges which meander through the garden, it draws you to it. Then, once inside, you’ll never want to leave.
The sitting room with its inglenook log burner is the perfect place for your gang to relax or play games after a tasty dinner of local produce whipped up in the country-style kitchen/diner. There are also hours of fun to be had in the pretty garden, whether it’s lazing in the hot tub, unwinding with a drink on the terrace, watching the little ones bouncing on the trampoline or appreciating the abundant birdlife that make the Estate their home. Situated close to our popular Crepe Farmhouse, the two properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 24 people.
