Known as Crepe Farm Barns, Broadleaze, Thistlehay and Little Ryebury offer ‘room only’ accommodation, located in a delightfully refurbished barn originally built by William Colfox, grandfather of Symondsbury Estate owner Philip Colfox, as part of his first foray into farming. During the winter months it provided shelter for Dairy Shorthorn cows that were milked at the dairy (now the kitchen in nearby Crepe Farmhouse), with the milk being used to make cheese and cream.

Crepe Farm Barns Overview
It’s hard to believe their lowly beginnings when you stay in one of these lovely rooms today. Each has a comfy bed, large bathroom with walk in shower, TV, hot drink-making equipment, fridge and little courtyard space at the front. They offer stylish accommodation in a rural location, in the heart of a working estate, just right for a short break.
While there isn’t a kitchen, you’re only a short, farm-track walk away from Symondsbury Estate where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and other delicious treats in the café. Plus, the excellent bars and restaurants of Bridport are only a few minutes’ drive away. Bookable for a minimum stay of just two nights, they are perfect for walkers, guests for weddings on the Estate and business travellers.
Tranquil and picturesque with outstanding views
