Thought to have been built in 1835 by artist and builder, Thomas Galpin, for a well-to do family in Bridport, it has been meticulously renovated by the Colfox family who have brought it back to its original glory. Stepping through its grand front door you are greeted by space and light and can get lost ambling through the opulently decorated rooms adorned with eclectic artworks. These include original oil paintings of some of the Colfox family’s ancestors.
