A wildling is a wild plant, flower, animal – or a seedling growing freely beyond cultivation.
It is this spirit of natural growth that has inspired us to set up our new Wildlings Parent & Toddler Group, here on Symondsbury Estate.
We are inviting little wildlings – from walking age (around 18 months) to 4 years old – and their grown-ups to explore, play and connect outdoors.
Join us every Tuesday in July at 9:30am on the Top Lawn for joyful sessions full of sensory discovery, nature art, planting, songs and community building. We use sustainable, eco-friendly materials to care for the environment as we learn and play together. And if it rains, we’ve got you covered (literally!) with our big teepee tent.
These sessions are the brainchild of Olivia Valler-Feltham, our Event Coordinator and a parent herself who knows firsthand the power of nature for children. With a background in theatre and education across the UK, Paris, and India, Olivia creates warm, joyful outdoor spaces where families can play, explore and have fun together.
There are five sessions at £5 each or £20 for the full course (last session free!). Younger siblings join free, and adults get 10% off tea and coffee at the Symondsbury Deli on session days.
