Axen Lodge – Positively enjoyable!

This was a late booking for Easter (four adults, two teenagers) and, having thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend, we count our selves lucky that Axen Lodge was available. The pictures do not do justice to the property which is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very well equipped – all of which pale in comparison to the views which are superb, even when viewed through the usual Bank Holiday rain.

Ample parking, enclosed garden and a hot-tub were all a bonus and, perhaps surprisingly, we’d all recommend the latter so make sure you take your trunks or whatever. Great as a place on its own, as a base for traveling around the nearby towns and coast or both – and many thanks to the staff who made the whole experience from booking through to departure positively enjoyable!
