Axen Lodge – Brilliant holiday

Brilliant holiday. We stayed here with my two daughters, their husbands and two grandchildren. Accommodation was super. We slept in the summerhouse, which is detached from the property, but enjoyed the main house very much. We ate in most nights and the facilities for cooking were excellent.

We enjoyed walking to the tea shop on the estate and to Downhouse Farm Tea Shop for cream teas. Weather could have been better but nonetheless we still enjoyed playing cricket and games in the garden and of course the hot tub was lovely. Like to try somewhere different every year but my daughters did say we would find it hard to find a property to match this one.
